  2. Must contain 8 scholarly sources including the text.  Students are encouraged to research scholarly articles using the Ashford Online Library (i.e. Proquest).  Wikipedia is an example of a source that is NOT acceptable.
  3. Must include a cover page that includes:
    1. Title of paper
    2. Student’s name
    3. Course name and number
    4. Instructor’s name
    5. Date submitted
  4. Must include an introductory paragraph with a succinct thesis statement.
  5.  Must conclude with a restatement of the thesis and a conclusion paragraph.
  6.  Must include a Reference Page that is completed according to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide.
  7. Must not be written in first person.
  8. Must contain paraphrased citations and no direct quotes.
